For people who make apps, software and online shops

An AI marketing agent that finds where to talk about your product

You give it your website. Once a week, it looks around the internet and makes you a short list of opportunities to mention your product. For example, a blog post that lists apps like yours, or a question someone asked on Quora yesterday. It also writes a first draft of the email for you.

Email to Jamie, who wrote “12 best budgeting apps for couples”

Hi Jamie, I liked your point that most budgeting apps assume couples split everything 50/50. I make Twofold, which is built for couples who don’t. If you update the list, would you take a look?…

An example weekly list from the AI marketing agent for a budgeting app for couples. It looked at 1,240 pages and found 32 good opportunities. The best three are an article to ask to be added to, with the email already written, a website to ask for a link, and a Quora question to answer. The email draft is shown so the owner can change it and send it themselves.

The basics

What is an AI marketing agent?

An AI marketing agent is a computer program that does marketing tasks for you. You don’t have to tell it what to do each time. You give it a goal, and it does the steps on its own: it searches, reads, takes notes and comes back with results.

Ours does one job: it finds opportunities to reach people who might want your product. Every week it reads your website, searches Google, looks at “best of” articles, and reads questions on sites like Quora and Reddit. Then it gives you a short list of things to do, with a link to each place so you can check it yourself. It never posts anything for you.

How it works

What it does each week

These are the six steps it goes through every week. You don’t need to do anything while it works.

  1. 01

    Reads your website

It reads your home page and pricing page to learn what you sell, who it’s for, and which other products are like yours.

  2. 02

    Looks around

It checks what people type into Google, reads “best of” articles about products like yours, and finds questions on Quora, forums and Reddit.

  3. 03

    Checks its work

AI sometimes makes things up. So every item must link to a real page it opened. If it can’t show you the page, it drops the item.

  4. 04

    Puts the best first

Each opportunity gets a score from 0 to 100. An article 5,000 people read that lists your competitors scores high. An old forum post with 2 replies scores low.

  5. 05

    Writes first drafts

For “best of” articles, it finds the writer’s email and writes a short email asking them to add you. For questions, it gives you tips on what to say.

  6. 06

    Remembers

Mark something as done or not useful, and it won’t show it to you as new again next week.

An example weekly search for a budgeting app for couples. It reads the app's website, looks at searches, competitors, “best of” lists, websites, Q&A sites and forums, then shows six opportunities to promote the app: a “best of” list to get on, a website to ask for a link, a Quora question, a forum question, a website that mentions the app without a link, and a page worth adding.

What you get

Real opportunities, with links

You won’t get tips like “post on social media.” Each item is one real page, with a link and a clear next step.

Articles to get into

Articles like “12 best budgeting apps for couples” that list your competitors but not you. You get the writer’s email and a draft.

Websites that link to apps like yours but not to you. And websites that mention your app but forgot to add a link.

Questions to answer

People asking “which app should I use for…?” on Quora and forums, where your answer could really help.

Pages to write

Things people search for on Google where the results aren’t good. A good page on your site could show up there.

Who does what

What it does, and what you do

Many online groups ban posts written by AI, and people can usually tell. So the agent never posts for you. It does the slow part: the searching and the first drafts. You do the part that needs a real person.

The agent

  • Searches every week
  • Reads the pages for you
  • Checks every link
  • Puts the best opportunities first
  • Finds email addresses
  • Writes first drafts of emails

You

  • Choose what to do
  • Change the email and send it
  • Write your own replies, and say you made the product
  • Mark things as done

The agent never

  • Posts or comments
  • Sends emails or messages
  • Likes or votes
  • Uses fake accounts

Other options

Other ways to do this

You could also search by yourself, use an AI writing tool, use a bot that posts for you, use a tool that sends cold emails for you, or hire someone. Here’s how they’re different.

Questions

Questions people ask

What is an AI marketing agent?

An AI marketing agent is a computer program that does marketing tasks for you. You don’t have to tell it what to do each time. You give it a goal, and it does the steps on its own: it searches, reads, takes notes and comes back with results. Some AI agents for marketing write social media posts. Some run ads. Ours finds opportunities to reach people who might want your product, and writes first drafts of emails for you.

How is it different from other AI marketing tools?

Most AI marketing tools help you write: posts, ads and emails. That’s useful once you know where to post. This one helps with the step before that: finding where to post. And unlike some tools, it never posts or sends emails for you.

Is this an AI CMO?

Not really. A CMO is the person in charge of marketing at a company. Our agent does one part of that job: it finds where your customers already are. You still make the choices.

How is this different from asking ChatGPT?

If you ask ChatGPT where to promote your app, you get general tips like “try Product Hunt.” Our agent actually goes and looks. It finds the real articles, websites and questions for your product, with links. And it does it again every week.

Will it post on Reddit or social media for me?

No. Many online groups ban posts written by AI, and it could hurt your name. The agent finds the opportunities and writes drafts. You decide what to send, and you write your own replies.

What do I need to give it?

Just your website. You can also add a sentence about what your product does and who it’s for. That helps the first search.

Can it replace a marketer?

No. It can save you a lot of searching. But writing as yourself, talking to people and deciding what fits your product still need a person.

How much does it cost?

It starts at $29 a month. Starter is $29 a month (1 product). Growth is $79 a month (3 products). Agency is $199 a month (10 products). You can try any plan free for 7 days.

Where does it look?

Google, “best of” articles, review sites, Quora, Stack Exchange, Hacker News, Indie Hackers, Bluesky, Reddit, X, TikTok and Instagram. It also reads your own website.

What kind of products is it for?

Anything people buy or use online: apps, software, online shops, courses and online services. It’s not very useful for shops that only sell in person.

How long until I see something?

About 10 minutes after you add your website. After that, you get a new list every week.
